KOBE Range Hoods' CHX38 series under cabinet range hood is a ductless / recirculating hood that is designed for the kitchen or cook area that do not vent out. This range hood is beautifully handcrafted with 18-gauge commercial grade stainless steel with satin finish. The unique front slope curve design will definitely add a style to your kitchen design! This hood is equipped with 3-speed mechanical push button, dishwasher-safe baffle filters and LED lights. It comes with powerful 400 CFM internal blower and charcoal filters. Available as under cabinet or wall mount style with optional chimney.

Removed a dysfunctional over the range 30” microwave and replaced with Kobe 36” ductless hood (the actual size of our range). Looks great and works to filter smells, cooking smoke, and isn’t too loud. LED lights brighten up cooking surface as well. I will eventually update backsplash for more cohesive look but happy with the purchase so far!

Really quality unit

I originally had a Faber unit that came broken from the company online that sells appliances with two initials at the beginning of their name — after weeks of frustration I just decided to buy another one and I am so happy I did. This is an awesome fan and looks better for less money.

Straight forward install, have someone help hold.

Read the other reviews about the instructions, and difficult installation but had no issues. If you have ever installed a hood, it’s pretty straightforward, 4 screws on top, hook up the hot, common and ground.Yes the instructions could be better (pictures are dark) and the install could be a bit easier, I had to drill some holes as the screw punch outs were difficult to remove. Took an extra 5 mins.Mount plywood to the bottom of your cabinets to make everything flush and easy to mount. Have someone help hold the hood and the other screw it in. Overall about 40 mins from unpacking to working.Thick metal, and firm construction. Lights are bright. Very happy.

This hood was super easy to install and light enough to work with.

Not overly loud.

I love this hood. The exhaust draw is great, cleaning it is easy, the hood lights make it so much easier to see what I am doing. Very happy with this.
